Plan International’s work on preventing, reducing, and eliminating CEFMU in Asia-Pacific spans more than a decade and is led by Plan International APAC Regional Hub. CEFMU is one of theregion’s top priorities. The Time to Act! Toolkit (“Time to Act!” Gender-transformative Programme Strategies for addressing Child, Early and forced Marriage and Unions in Asia Pacific: Toolkit forPractitioners) was developed by Plan International APAC with the involvement of Plan International Country Offices in late 2021. Plan hired Lindsey to co-develop with the Youth Campaigner Core Group a first draft of the Youth Activist Toolkit on CEFMU that builds on the content from the CEFMU toolkit for practitioners. The toolkit will be used as a resource for the youth campaigner core group and other youth activists on CEFMU.

Services provided

• Proposed content/outline of topic and sub-topics of the CEFM Youth Activist Toolkit;

• Developed a work plan for the co-development process;

• Conducted online workshops with members of the Youth Campaigner Core Group (YCCG) to gather input on the toolkit content and design;

• Drafted the toolkit and validated it with members of the YCCG;

• Finalized content for the first draft of the toolkit.
